Keep Calm During Times of Stress

According to the American Psychological Association (APA) Stress in America report, there were a greater number of American adults who experienced “extreme levels of stress” in 2015 compared to 2014. In that same report, 78 percent of adults surveyed said they have experienced at least one symptom of stress within the past year. The APA identifies symptoms of stress as headaches, upset stomach, chest pains/rapid heartbeat, sleep issues, fatigue, loss of appetite, increased frequency of colds, dry mouth, irritability, anxiety, and memory problems or forgetfulness.
